In the summer of 2024, F2S tutors
mentored and taught 40-60 JCCS
students in Vista, San Marcos and
Escondido, California.
Students received 120 hours of one-
to-one student assistance and 30
hours of front-of-classroom instruction
from June 10th – August 16th.
F2S tutors taught customized
leadership development and
information technology skills in order
to motivate their students to stay in
school, excel in college and thrive in
careers aligned with their interests.
100% learned a new skill or improved upon existing skills.
96% found the program meaningful.
92% thought the instructor created an inclusive and welcoming learning environment.
91% would encourage other students to take the course.
83% were confident in applying what they learned.
